DELRAY BEACH — Alldry Restoration has been in business for five years, but just recently celebrated its membership with the Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce with a grand opening at the chamber's office.
The company is owned by Ben and Elissa Suiskind, two New Yorkers who were in the restaurant business before moving to Miami. There, they went to work with a law firm, dealing with insurance claims. "They took that experience and started a restoration business," said Johnny Mackey, the firm's business development director.
Alldry handles water damage mitigation and repairs, mold remediation, leak detection and smoke and fire damage restoration. It also provides storm protection services — preparing a property ahead of a hurricane, for example — for property managers and snow birds. It will also do roof tarping in cases where a client is waiting for an insurance check to make permanent repairs.
The company has nine employees, two trucks and three vans. It works with a variety of subcontractors — plumbers and mold remediation firms to name two — when needed.
Mackey said Alldry ranks in the top five percent of Angie's List contractors, Its community work includes Habitat for Humanity and has a mold remediation service for veterans.
