DELRAY BEACH — Florida’s jobless rate fell in November, according to a report released Friday morning by the state Department of Economic Opportunity.
The November rate jobless rate fell in Palm Beach County as well, as seasonal hiring picked up, but held steady in Broward.
Florida’s rate dropped to 10.0 percent in November, down from 10.4 percent in October and 11.9 percent in November 2010. The actual number out of work fell to 926,000 from 956,000 a month earlier. That number only includes those actively seeking work and not those who have become discouraged and dropped out of the jobs market.
State numbers are adjusted for seasonal factors that affect the jobs market.
