Office Depot donates furniture to Achievement Centers

DELRAY BEACH — The Achievement Centers for Children & Families Foundation received a donation of new office furniture valued at $10,000 from the Office Depot Foundation.  The new office suites will furnish the Foundation’s offices in Delray Beach.

The Achievement Centers recently purchased a home adjacent to the Center’s childcare facilities to relocate the Foundation office, which is the fundraising arm for the Centers.  The new office is located at 345 NW 5th Avenue in Delray Beach.

“Our Foundation is extremely grateful to the Office Depot Foundation for helping us furnish our new home,” comments Stephanie Seibel, Executive Director.  “Their donation was by far more than we ever expected and we are sincerely appreciative of their support of our Center and the low-income children and families we serve.

Reflecting the values of Office Depot and its associates, the Office Depot Foundation supports programs that enhance the quality of life for children, strengthen communities, encourage local and international economic growth, and empower schools and non-profit organizations.  The Foundation focuses on making a difference in children’s lives, and supports activities that serve, teach and inspire children, youth and families.  In addition, they are dedicated to building communities and helping organizations and activities that serve the needs of our community.

“Supporting organizations like the Achievement Centers clearly aligns with our mission of making a difference in the lives of children and families,” comments Maureen Wilt, Foundation Manager of the Office Depot Foundation.  “The Achievement Centers do great work in our community and have made a difference in many families’ lives.  It was our pleasure to support their Foundation by providing them with new furniture so they could equip their new offices.”
