South County chambers complete 'cycle' in Boynton Beach

BOYNTON BEACH — About a year ago, the three South County chambers of commerce agreed to a series of combined business card exchanges as one way to create more networking opportunities for their members and work together to build the regional economy. First, it was Delray Beach last may, and Boca Raton in October. They completed the cycle Wednesday evening at the Marriott on Congress Avenue in Boynton Beach, where about 400 members of the Boca Raton, Boynton and Delray Beach chambers gathered. About 1,200 attended the three events. They were successful enough that Boca Raton Chamber President and CEO Troy McClellan said Thursday that three chambers will do it again in the same order beginning in May.
