Parade to close Atlantic Avenue

DELRAY BEACH — The city’s 41st Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade will be Saturday and will require that portions of Atlantic Avenue be closed to traffic beginning at 11 a.m.

Atlantic Avenue will be closed at 11:00 a.m. from Gleason Street to NW 1st Avenue. It will reopen as the parade passes. The parade is scheduled from 2 to 3:30 pm.
  
The Atlantic Avenue bridge will be closed to vessel traffic from 2 until 3:30 p.m.
   
Detours to A1A will be via George Bush Boulevard.

Festivities begin at 11 a.m. on the grounds of Old School Square.  From 2:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m., the St. Patrick's Day Parade will travel on Atlantic Avenue from Gleason Street to Swinton Avenue.
