Checks should be made out to UWPBC/Haiti Relief Efforts.
Residents wishing to make a credit card donation can do so by going online to www.unitedwaypbc.org Click on the United Way Disaster Fund headline. You will be directed to a secure online donation page.
All donations to the United Way Disaster Fund will help with immediate relief needs in Haiti (food, water, clothing, shelter, medical), long-term rebuilding, and services for local Haitian families affected by this disaster. There is a 3 percent processing fee for credit card donations. No other administration fees will be taken.
United Way of Palm Beach County is unable to accept collected goods or individual items since we do not have the resources or the logistical set-up to properly handle these types of donations. For information on agencies handling in-kind donations, please call 2-1-1.
